Lithuania is a country with a colorful history, once boasting an empire stretching from the Baltic to the Black Sea. Now it is a land of castles, lakes and forests. Its landscape consists of vast plains parted by hills and sand dunes along the Baltic shore.

Covering an area of about 1,010,000 square kilometers, Egypt is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Red Sea to the east, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west.

Dolomites

Dolomites are a section of the Alps. A tourist mecca, the Dolomites are famous for skiing in the winter months and mountain climbing, daily excursions, climbing and Base Jumping, as well as para-gliding and hang gliding in summer and late spring/early autumn. One national park and many other regional parks are located in the Dolomites. In August 2009, the Dolomites has been declared natural heritage of the UNESCO.

Istria

Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea. The peninsula is located at the head of the Adriatic between the Gulf of Trieste and the Bay of Kvarner. It is shared by three countries: Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. The card shows Croatian part. It is one of the most beautiful maps I ever see.

Harjumaa

Different countries RR Winter group from Eellaa

This is a map card of Harjumaa that is an ancient Estonian county. It corresponded roughly to the present territory of Rapla County. The card also shows national clothes of a man and a woman of Kuusalu, Jagala waterfall and open-air museum in Viimsi.

New country for my collection came as official. This maxicard devoted to 300 years of first French Huguenots settlement in South Africa. There are many families, today mostly Afrikaans-speaking, whose surnames bear witness to their French Huguenot ancestry. Mommylinda has French surname too.
